Much Music put out a new press release for Degrassi this morning, highlighting the show’s recent success, as well as a new summary for “When Love Takes Over.” Here’s what the article had to say:

Much Music is on a roll this week! This just posted yet another one of these short video interviews with the cast answering your questions!
In this video, Ray talks about what it’s like to be on Degrassi and how he has grown with his character Sav. He is also asked what is going to happen to Sav in the next half of the season… and gives an interesting answer. Watch the video above & check out the Much blog for more!
Much Music posted a few more of these short videos with the cast answering the questions you guys submitted earlier this year. Ray talks about who he would want to meet if he was on Much Music’s My Date With (hint: it’s a former Degrassi cast member).

Much Music issued a press release today for their holiday programming, and it included new information about the Degrassi In India documentary special! As many of you are aware, the cast of Degrassi travelled to India earlier this year with Free the Children. A documentary was made about the trip. This is the 3rd Degrassi Free the Children documentary; the others being taking place in Kenya and Ecuador. According to the press release, Degrassi In India will premiere on Christmas Eve at 8pm on Much Music. No air date for TeenNick is yet known. Here is how the press release described the documentary:

Premieres Friday, Dec. 24 at 8 p.m. ET (30 min.)
DEGRASSI IN INDIA follows 14 cast members on a real life journey to a tiny village in rural India. They set out to help a community build a school with Free the Children where they are reminded to appreciate their friends, family, and fortunate lives. Check out this new interview with Landon Liboiron from MuchMusic.com! The interview mainly focuses on Landon’s role in Altitude as well as Degrassi and Life Unexpected. Here is an excerpt on working with a first time director:
Another person that the cast became close with was first time director, Marvel comic artist turned filmmaker, Kaare Andrews. When I asked whether Landon felt anxious working with a director on their first project, it was a resounding ‘no’. “It’s a very vibrant energy when it’s a new director. He’s always very excited and he’s always very anxious to try things. I wasn’t nervous about it at all because we were all very confident in Karre’s decisions. It was our job to take hold of what we needed to do. He was always right there with us.”
