Stephen Stohn, you tease! The executive producer of Degrassi tweeted this spoiler-y picture of Eli & Julia today, while the finishing touches were put on what he called very “special” episodes. Stohn tweeted: “Just heading to a mixodwn of some “special” eps, very dramatic eps… very dramatic… Did I mention, dramatic?”
He also mentioned that Alexz Johnson’s A Little Bit (reloaded) will be in the Degrassi season 10 finale.

Stephen Stohn gave us another Twitter hint this afternoon!! About an hour ago he tweeted:
The next block of 12 Degrassi’s starting February 11 will have a name, like The Boiling Point did..
…only of course it’s not called The Boiling Point, nor is it The Breaking Point…
My guess is that we’ll be hearing what this name is in the near future (and hopefully a new promo?) Get on it TeenNick & Much Music!

This is TeenNick’s promo for their Every Episode Ever Marathon, and it features a few new clips towards the end! This has been floating around the fandom for a few days, but now we have a good quality version to screencap & obsess over. Nickelodeon put out a new press release today, and it describes the network’s successful year. Once again, Nickelodeon is 2010’s top ranked cable network. The press release also includes information about TeenNick’s ratings, mainly fueled by Degrassi’s success:
TeenNick—the 24-hour network for teens—delivered its most-watched year in 2010 with its core audience of teens 12-17 (+8% in delivery), and total viewers (+16%). TeenNick’s record-breaking yearly performance was fueled by Degrassi, whose six-week summer telenovela-style television event (July 20-Aug. 26) posted triple- and quadruple-digit gains with teens 12-17 (+650%) and total viewers (+605%).

We have an official date!! Executive producer Stephen Stohn announced on Twitter moments ago that Degrassi will return Friday, February 11th with episode 1033/1034 “When Love Takes Over Part 1 & 2.” A Valentines Day themed episode perhaps? Mark your calendars!

Slight spoilers for episodes coming up in 2011, as this Facebook page has been created by a group that calls themselves The Four Drummers of Degrassi. The 5 members (Kyle Saunders, Corey Dixon, Nicolas Quercia and Elisa Tibollo) are said to appear in episode 1037 “Jesus Etc.” They have uploaded a bunch of pictures from the set of Degrassi, which you can see above.
